Cancer – The Loving and Caring Personality of the Zodiac
As Cancer set her foot forward with the innate grace and serenity, GOD looked at this compassionate child of HIS and knowing her ability to sustain, gave her the GIFT of MOTHERHOOD and SUSTAENANCE.
As Cancer moved onto the chamber, it was flooded by her element, the Water. She was so all over the place that she covered nearly two thirds of the vast portions. So, the lands also now belonged to her. And she built her home there to give protection, love and family that she would now have.
She picked up all the emotions that where left behind after brother Gemini had taken over the communications. Till this day, the most heartfelt emotions are unsaid. That of the mother and child, true love. That which requires time needs to go through the test of time. She picked up all things abstract and yet the very sustenance of the human race- compassion, emotion, motherhood (that was her gift) and nourishment. With this she also became the Queen of the hearts of people around her. She became synonymous with love, care and protection. Like the crab which is her symbol, she carries her home in her heart which is the organ associated with this Zodiac sign. Just like the crab, when she is hurt, sister Cancer can go back into her shell and withdraw completely till she has recovered her balance and composer.
The element of water holds all things safely in itself just like a mother holds the secrets of her child- so memory became a part of her gifts too. Anything that needed to be nurtured and cherished fell in her lap and she did her part lovingly- be it nurturing a child or be it taking over the job of the Human Resource Head of her team. She spoke with such a sweet language that all fell in love with her.
And her energy was not limited to the animated. She loved anything she gave birth to and worked tirelessly towards it- be it a child- her own or adopted, a business that she developed from scratch or an NGO she worked it. And she was guided by her intuitions. She felt passionately for all that she sustained including the old. As she had loved them in their childhood she took them again in their old age and gave them the resting ground called the crematory or the grave to rest. Her generosity knows no bounds and neither does her anger when she is aroused or her children put in danger. She can be as dangerous as the brother who followed her into the chamber.
Example- Prince Charles
Charles, Prince of Wales is the heir apparent to the British throne as the eldest child of Queen Elizabeth II. He has been Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay since 1952, and is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history. He is also the longest-serving Prince of Wales, having held that title since 1958.
It has been said on record that Prince Charles wanted to shield his children from the press after the death of Lady Diana and was in fact very possessive about the boys’ personal life and privacy.
Since founding The Prince’s Trust in 1976, Charles has established sixteen more charitable organisations, and now serves as president of all of those.[76] Together, these form a loose alliance called The Prince’s Charities, which describes itself as “the largest multi-cause charitable enterprise in the United Kingdom, raising over £100 million annually … [and is] active across a broad range of areas including education and young people, environmental sustainability, the built environment, responsible business and enterprise and international.”
EXAMPLE- RICHARD GERE
Richard Tiffany Gere is an American actor and humanitarian activist. Gere is also an advocate for human rights in Tibet. He is a co-founder of the Tibet House, creator of The Gere Foundation and Chairman of the Board of Directors for the International Campaign for Tibet. Because he supports the Tibetan Independence Movement, he is permanently banned from entering the People’s Republic of China. In 1993, Gere was banned as an Academy Award presenter after he denounced the Chinese government in his capacity as presenter. In September 2007, Gere called for the boycott of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games to put pressure on China to make Tibet independent.
Gere actively supports Survival International, an organization dedicated to protecting the rights and lands of tribal peoples throughout the world. Gere campaigns for ecological causes and AIDS awareness. He currently serves on the board of directors for Healing the Divide, an organization that supports global initiatives to promote peace, justice and understanding.
Gere is an accomplished musician, composing and performing the “Pretty Woman” piano theme and a guitar solo in “Runaway Bride”. He also learned tap dance for “Chicago” and karate for “An Officer and a Gentleman”.
EXAMPLE- JULIA ROBERTS
Roberts has given her time and resources to UNICEF as well as to other charitable organizations. On May 10, 1995, Roberts arrived in Port-au-Prince , as she said, “to educate myself”. The poverty she found was overwhelming. “My heart is just bursting”, she said. UNICEF officials hoped that her six-day visit would trigger an outburst of giving: US$10 million in aid was sought at the time.
With Thanksgiving around the corner, the star will be busy cooking in the kitchen. I truly love cooking,’ she explained. ‘One of my favorite things about Thanksgiving is you can just spend days cooking. You aren’t obligated to do anything else. I think I got that from [my mother] and learned by being in the kitchen with her, watching her do it.’
The Compassion and the heartfelt love for all is evident in all these people to see.
